Pre-Teen DOT’S Ministry
Too Old for Children's Ministry, not old enough for Youth Group....
What’s a 5th or 6th grader to do?
The Pre-Teen Ministry at TUMC, known as the DOTS, gives 5th and 6th graders an opportunity to find their place in the church. The DOTS meet monthly and participate in devotionals and service projects, including collecting blankets and clothing and visiting the homeless, volunteering at AAR in Tomball, and participating at DOTS worksites during Faith in Action. The DOTS also participate in Friday Night Live, an evening filled with crazy fun, fellowship, and faith. Each year, the DOTS also go on a weekend retreat and have an end of the year lock-in.
The Pre-Teen youth group is an amazing way for your 5th and 6th grader to find their place at church, and to begin to transition and get ready for the junior and senior high youth group experience. Below is our upcoming activities.
