How do we go teach children about Loving Others? First and foremost, we show unconditional love and acceptance to every child that we meet.  We model grace and forgiveness, so that these concepts become more than words, they become examples that they can see and apply in their life. We encourage family togetherness - no matter what the make-up of your family looks like - and we encourage parents to become the spiritual leaders of their children. Other ways that we teach children about Loving Others include:

Wednesday Night Family Dinner  is hosted every Wednesday Evening from 5:00 - 6:30. Families have a chance to share a meal and children have the chance to laugh and play together as a large group.

Family Events  are held throughout the year. TUMC offers families an opportunity to fellowship together with events like Movie Night, Family Picnics, and Surprise Adventure Nights. Dates and times may vary, so check our page for updates!

Pre Teen Ministry is for 5th & 6th graders. We meet the first weekend of every month. At the beginning of each school year, the group meets to plan their activities for the year. They alternate fellowship events and mission projects each month. Fellowship programs include lock-ins, Mission projects, and lunch out together. The Pre Teen group exists so that children are given a chance to be leaders in our church community and to help them learn how to be a part of a youth group.

Children's Mailings are sent out throughout the year. Do you remember how much fun it was to get mail as a child? We send all children in our ministry cards, care packages, and special gifts to remind them that their church home loves and cares for them.
