Looking for a place of solitude and calm, come enjoy our prayer garden. Our prayer garden was built in 2002 to encourage a sense of peace and solitude. It is a place where you can come and get away from the hustle and bustle of the day and spend some quiet time with our Lord & Savior.
There is a covered area with benches where you can sit and meditate. There are benches in the courtyard area surrounded by beautiful landscape.
36 Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” 37 He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” 39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” 40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.
Recently, Ashley Carter suggested that we have a great prayer trail for our people to walk if they want to get out in nature for a bit. She also thought it would be a great idea for us to have a guide available to help people with scripture and prayer as they walk, if they so desire. These were great ideas! So…here is a guide you can use that takes advantage of some of the unique sights on our own prayer trail and how you can use them to remember God’s presence and power in your life! Click the button and either print or use your phone or tablet to read as you go! Enjoy!
Prayer Ministry Team
“We have a prayer ministry team who meet weekly to pray over the concerns presented here and during our worship services. This team also prays over all areas on campus asking for God’s guidance and direction for the ministries of our church.”
